01 – Inspiration
Ich rufe die göttlichen Kräfte der Inspiration an:
Ogmios, der die Menschen mit seinen Worten fesselt
Saga, die nicht nur den Skaldenmet mit Odin teilt
Apollo, dessen Musik das Herz berührt
Brighid, deren Dichtkunst alle in ihren Bann schlägt
und euch alle, die ihr die Flamme der Inspiration in euch tragt:
Lasst einen Funken auf mich überspringen!
Füllt meinen Geist
und lasst mich die richtigen Worte sprechen,
die beste Melodie finden,
damit mein Wek gelingt!

I call to the divine powers of inspiration:
Ogmios, who binds people with his words
Saga, who doesn’t only share the skald’s mead with Odin
Apollo, whose music touches the heart
Brighid, whose poetry puts everybody under her spell
and all of you, who carry the flame of inspiration:
Let me get touched by a spark of it!
Fill my mind
and let me find the right words,
the best melody,
to get my work done.
